Urology Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urology Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a Urology Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical team.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting, focusing on urologic disorders including prostate health, erectile dysfunction, and ureter conditions.
- Assist in surgeries and procedures, demonstrating proficient skills and knowledge in urologic surgery.
- Conduct patient assessments, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop patient treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health promotion practices.
- Participate in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives related to urologic health.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of medical records.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the highest level of patient safety and confidentiality.
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a valid state license and in good standing.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant in urology.
- Advanced knowledge and clinical experience in diagnosing and treating urologic conditions, including prostate disorders, erectile dysfunction, and ureter issues.
- Proficiency in using medical instruments and equipment required in urology.
- Strong surgical assisting skills and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating respect and professionalism at all times.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in urologic health.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
