Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Design and implement treatment plans tailored to clients' needs.
  • Employ diverse therapeutic techniques to enhance communication and swallowing capabilities.
  • Track client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate clients, families, and caregivers on effective communication and swallowing strategies.
  • Maintain precise documentation of client progress and treatment strategies.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Required:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Preferred:
  • Experience with clients facing communication and swallowing challenges.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with client positioning.
  • Capability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Clear hearing and communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity for performing therapy techniques.
