Job Summary:The Travel Nurse RN Interventional Radiology Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an interventional radiology setting. This includes preparing patients for procedures, analyzing lab results and medical history, providing education to patients and family members, and overseeing the safety and comfort of patients.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for procedures, including checking vital signs
- Analyze lab results and medical history
- Provide education to patients and family members
- Insert and remove IV lines
- Administer drugs, including conscious sedation drugs
- Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure
- Oversee the safety and comfort of patients
- Provide post-procedure monitoring
- Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth
- AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
- BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
- Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families
At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
