Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team at Mercy Hospital South. As a key member of our interventional radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, including pre-procedure and post-procedure evaluation and monitoring.
  • Administer intra-procedure sedation and monitoring of patients as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of Missouri or eligibility for licensure.
  • 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association.
Work Environment

Our interventional radiology department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including 3 IR Fluoroscopy suites and 1 CT room. We utilize the Epic and Merge Cardio electronic medical records systems.
