Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents, including activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Keep resident rooms and care areas clean and neat, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Participate in the orientation of new residents to the facility, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Document care as instructed and required, maintaining accurate records.
  • Report any changes in a resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
  • Assist with transporting residents to and from dining, therapy, activity, and social programs.
  • Encourage residents to participate in activity programs, promoting engagement and socialization.
  • Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed, supporting residents' recovery and well-being.
  • Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents, utilizing facility technique.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to move consistently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, and/or stoop intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics to ensure the requirements of this position can be fully met.
  • Must be able to push, pull, or move a minimum of 100 pounds utilizing proper body mechanics and assistance.
  • Must be able to walk/stand 75% of the day.
