Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

At Meadowview Nursing Center, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team.

Job Summary

The LPN will play a vital role in providing direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Key responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring residents for adverse reactions, and providing education on medication management and side effects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring residents for any adverse reactions.
  • Assist with resident assessments, including collecting vital signs, monitoring symptoms, and documenting changes in condition.
  • Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
  • Document nursing assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
