Role SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cutting Operator to enhance our Large Format Printing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality printed products to our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to operate cutting machinery, ensuring precise movements of the blades to create various shapes from materials such as paper stock and vinyl.
Key Responsibilities- Review design specifications and set up the cutting machine accordingly.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure work is completed within established quality standards.
- Maintain inventory levels of necessary materials and tools for production.
- Communicate effectively with production leads to ensure job schedules are met.
- Implement efficient cutting methods to optimize production processes.
- Conduct regular maintenance on the cutting machine to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Experience with small or large format press equipment is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with CNC Flatbed Cutting is a plus.
