KPMG-UnitedStates is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our International Tax practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising multinational enterprises on complex tax matters, including tax planning, compliance, and controversy.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement tax strategies for multinational clients, taking into account their global tax risk profile, effective tax rate, and cash posture.
- Collaborate with our Mergers & Acquisition Tax team to structure tax aspects of multinational private equity and strategic mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs.
- Assist clients with preparing tax provisions for financial statements and reviewing compliance work product.
- Provide guidance on income tax treaty planning opportunities arising from inbound and outbound cross-border investing and trading activities.
- Develop and deepen client relationships, expanding KPMG's footprint in local and global markets.
- Minimum eight years of experience working on engagements involving international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or foreign equivalent.
- Knowledge of a broad range of international and domestic tax law provisions.
- Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to balance and lead multiple engagements, supervise and assist with staff development, and provide excellent client service.
