Key Responsibilities
  • Assess Patient Symptoms: Evaluate patient symptoms via telephone and provide medical guidance to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Provide Medical Advice: Offer medical advice, instructions, and recommendations to patients, utilizing excellent customer service skills.
  • Record Patient Interactions: Accurately record all patient interactions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Triage and Prioritize Care: Use clinical judgment to evaluate the urgency of patient conditions and prioritize care based on the severity of symptoms.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Skills: Phone triage, speaking with patients, customer service, bilingual (English/Spanish), phone etiquette, medical terminology, internal medicine, nephrology, prior authorizations, and answering phones.
