At UCHealth, we are seeking a dedicated Clinical Educator to enhance the learning and professional growth of our nursing staff within the neurosciences department.
Location: UC Health Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion
Department: Clinical Education
Employment Type: Full Time, 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Work Schedule: Day Shift
Compensation: $63.33 per hour, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with management and clinical staff to evaluate educational needs and competencies.
- Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs and curricula that align with clinical competencies, organizational policies, and regulatory standards.
- Act as a mentor and consultant for nursing staff in areas of program development and clinical practice.
- Contribute to the orientation and ongoing education of new clinical staff.
- Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred.
Required Licensure/Certification: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and any relevant certifications as per position requirements.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. - Experience in neuroscience nursing is preferred.
