Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Assess the psychosocial needs of patients and families, and provide intervention to meet those needs using personal, family, and community resources.
  • Provide crisis intervention, brief therapy, and case consultation services to other professionals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources to support patients and families.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
  • Registration with the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
  • Experience with crisis intervention and brief and long-term therapy, either in a mental health setting or a medical/health setting is required.
  • Experience working with family and community systems and with multidisciplinary teams is required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
