KIPP Chicago is seeking dedicated educators for our middle school programs.
Our middle schools encompass grades 5 through 8, and we are currently looking to fill several teaching roles across our campuses. When you apply, your application will be considered for all relevant positions that align with your expertise.
Role Responsibilities
As a Middle School Teacher at KIPP Chicago, you will specialize in a specific subject area. While the curriculum may vary slightly between schools, common subjects include English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and History.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) is mandatory for new hires.
- Pending PEL, ELS, or SUB license must meet state testing requirements.
- Preferred: At least two years of successful teaching experience in urban settings.
- Must pass a background check prior to employment.
