Access Healthcare is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of ultrasound technology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various modalities, including 2D, 3D, and Doppler imaging.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and provide emotional support during the examination.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, examination results, and any relevant medical history.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or a related specialty.
  • 1-2 years of experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
