Job Title: UPS Service Technician
The UPS Service Technician is integral to the upkeep, servicing, and diagnostics of uninterruptible power supply systems, batteries, and essential infrastructure equipment. Our technicians receive specialized training from leading UPS manufacturers including MGE/APC, Liebert, Toshiba/Mitsubishi, and Powerware/Eaton. Join our dedicated team to conduct routine maintenance, respond to urgent service requests, and deliver engineering and technical assistance to esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel independently on a daily basis
- Be available for emergency calls 24/7, except during PTO or Off Call periods
- Perform installations and repairs on static switch and PDU systems
- Engage with customers and provide support
- Utilize electronic and electrical testing equipment as required
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with various UPS systems and related electrical devices
- Solid understanding of maintenance protocols and quality assurance practices
- Ability to interpret schematics and apply diagnostic methods
Physical Abilities:
- Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and working at various heights
- Good vision and auditory capabilities, with effective communication skills
