Job Title: RCSA Program Lead 1LOD

City National Bank is seeking a highly skilled RCSA Program Lead 1LOD to join our team. As a key member of our 1LOD Core Risk Program Implementation Team, you will be responsible for supporting key Risk Assessment initiatives and partnering with stakeholders to build out and manage successful Operational Risk Programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead discussions with 1LOD stakeholders, 2LOD ORM Advisory & Oversight, and RBC 2LOD Operational Shared Services teams to ensure successful deployment of RCSA work
  • Provide direct support and coordination in all related activities (e.g., planning, workshop execution) across stakeholders to meet key deliverables
  • Ensure consistency in assessments across the 1LOD; enhance key programs as needed to support key functions across the organization
  • Work with key leaders to manage the connectivity of Risk and Control identification across other programs (e.g., Issue Management, Control Testing, Shared Services)
  • Establish an ongoing monitoring and reporting process to proactively identify trends, thematic issues, and key risk concentration, reporting results to Senior Leadership as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in risk program execution (e.g., Process RCSAs, Risk and Control Identification)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Issue Management
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, regulatory remediation, or similar experience
  • Minimum of 7-10 years' work experience in financial services
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of key risk and control identification practices
  • Experience using GRC tools (e.g., Archer)
  • Microsoft 365 Suite; advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience analyzing and presenting large data sets for senior leadership
  • Risk reporting
  • Project management experience
Compensation:

Starting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
