Position Overview

The Security Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of security systems for our clients. This position involves direct interaction with customers, field personnel, sales representatives, and management to address and resolve technical issues effectively.

Compensation: $28 - $48 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain security and surveillance systems.
  • Deliver technical assistance and support to clients.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies in the security field.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Commitment to high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary certifications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Familiarity with security and communication systems.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven with the capability to work autonomously or collaboratively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Physical capability to navigate stairs and ladders.
Work Environment

Employees may experience occasional exposure to various weather conditions and will be required to travel as part of their duties.

Physical Demands
