The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients across various business industries, managing a team of associates, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reports.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Manage a team of accounting professionals to ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial tasks

• Oversee accounting operations, including financial accounting, accounts payable, and payroll

• Prepare and review periodic financial statements to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles

• Collaborate with the tax department to ensure accurate and timely tax returns

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

• Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal government requirements and ensure compliance

**Requirements**

• Bachelor of Science degree in accounting or a related field

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role

• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
