Acoustic Project Estimator

At Sound Seal Inc, we're dedicated to creating innovative solutions that reduce unwanted noise and enhance the acoustical properties of any space. As an Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in helping us achieve this vision by preparing estimates and quotations for acoustical projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive quote proposals, including price estimates, layout drawings, and acoustical calculations using customer-provided and internally generated information.
- Review architect's plans and project specifications to ensure conformance with our products.
- Perform and verify take-offs, effectively communicating details to project managers and customers.
- Prepare estimates using our current estimating software and ERP System.
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to read architectural plans and project specifications.
- Strong computer skills, particularly AutoCAD, ERP Systems, and SketchUp.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Must be able to work and effectively communicate with customers, project teams, interoffice departments, and co-workers.
