Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Oncology patients and families living with cancer in a healing and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess Oncology patients receiving Radiation therapy and associated toxicities in both the inpatient and ambulatory setting.
  • Administer IV hydration, electrolyte replacement, and medication administration.
  • Perform skin/oral care and voiding trials.
  • Care for and administer contrast to patients receiving PET/CT and MRI procedures.
  • Insert IVs and place foley Catheter.
  • Perform patient assessment and offer patient education and symptom management.
Requirements
  • New York State RN license and BSN.
  • 1.5 years of related medical/surgical experience required.
  • 1.5 -2 years of oncology experience highly preferred.
  • Oncology patient management strongly preferred.
  • Patient education skills.
