We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Georgetown Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to refine and achieve plans of care, and continually monitor patients' physical condition, emotional, and social needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and provide health education to patients and families.
- Evaluate patient progress and document the effectiveness of interventions.
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department setting.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
