Job Description

Overview

St. David's Georgetown Hospital is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to refine and achieve patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Administer medications and provide health education to patients and families
  • Evaluate patient progress and document effectiveness of interventions

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department setting
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENCP) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
