We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Event Security Specialist to join our team at Allied Universal Event Services. As an Event Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets at various events and venues.
Key Responsibilities- Event Day Preparation and Execution: Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution, including setting up security checkpoints, coordinating with event staff, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and personnel are in place.
- Access Control and Screening: Allow appropriate entry into each venue, collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue, and screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
- Crowd Control and Response: Protect guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets by watching for security breaches at vital checkpoints, responding quickly to potential crowd control issues, and providing escorts for unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide a positive experience for guests as they arrive at your facility entrance, aisle, concourse area or other location, and provide guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions that will enhance their entertainment experience.
- Age and Education: Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensing and Certification: Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Background Check and Drug Test: As a condition of employment, candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Able to use good independent judgment and discretion, and possess outstanding oral and written communication skills.
