Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team in a travel position in California.

Job Description & Requirements

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. You will provide quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. You will complete established competencies for the position within a designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Formal 2 year radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school which meets requirements for registry by the ARRT

Preferred Education

BS in Radiology or equivalent

Minimum Experience

2 years with specific experience in CT Scan (computerized tomography) components

Required Certification/Licensure

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; OR
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) in computed tomography; OR
  • ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification AND documented training on computed tomography
  • State license if required
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • CT registry within 6 months

Preferred Certification

  • CT registry at hire

Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) Job ID #19243. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
