bJob Summary/bbrbrAs a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at San Ramon Regional Medical Center, you will be responsible for producing high-quality clinical diagnostic radiographic films. You will perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures according to departmental protocol, policy, and procedures, and established standards of practice. Your duties will include operating radiographic equipment, developing film, preparing rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications. You will provide patient care services using general and specialized imaging modalities under the direction of a physician but not requiring constant technical supervision. Radiology services are provided to patients of all ages. You will apply ionizing radiation in the performance of a variety of technical procedures for radiological diagnosis. Your responsibilities will also include patient care safety, assisting physicians in the performance of procedures, and the administration of contrast media. You will assume responsibility for designated procedures and equipment, and participate in the orientation of Radiology Department staff.
