Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections using an ADA compliance checklist; evaluate properties; provide photographic evidence to support inspection findings; verify business types; enter data into our systems; and communicate information for processing.
- Plan travel routes for inspections by organizing locations from a comprehensive store list by region, utilizing GPS technology and traditional navigation methods.
- Engage with retailers to address compliance issues and recommend actionable solutions; educate sales teams and retailers on the significance of the ADA; distribute ADA resources, install signage, and clarify specifications for parking, ramps, and signage.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling vehicle maintenance, maintaining travel logs, drafting correspondence, and completing expense documentation.
- Responsible for arranging accommodations for overnight travel during retailer inspections outside of the home base.
Qualifications:
- Some college education coupled with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements and their application in retail settings.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to compile and document data accurately.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
