Job Title: EHR Specialist

Evergreen Family Medicine is seeking a highly skilled EHR Specialist to join our team. As an EHR Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our electronic health records, ensuring seamless clinical workflows, and providing exceptional support to our healthcare providers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot all EHR issues.
  • Perform administrative functions in EHR, including system configuration and maintenance, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Implement and integrate clinical applications, such as EHR Telehealth, Dragon Medical One/Embedded, and other Marketplace Partners.
  • Provide training and support to new hires and existing staff on EHR systems and clinical applications.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support clinical, utilization, quality, management, and financial initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, providers, and management to optimize clinical workflows and standardize processes and protocols.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of clinical experience, preferred.
  • 2 years of office experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer and/or networking security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, clerical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of the workplace.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent walking, use of hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, and reaching forward with hands and arms.
  • Occasional sitting and stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Requires long hours of standing and moving.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15-35 pounds at times.
