A Hug Away Hospice is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Director to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Medical Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Oversight and Direction: Provide medical guidance and oversight for the hospice program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards.
  • Interdisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in regular IDT meetings to review patient care plans and collaborate with the hospice team.
  • Staff Guidance and Support: Offer guidance and support to hospice staff, including nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Patient Assessments and Consultations: Conduct patient assessments and provide medical consultations as needed.
  • Children's Hospice Program Development: Advocate for and support the development of a children's hospice program within the organization.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Ensure the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered care that aligns with the mission and values of A Hug Away Hospice.
Qualifications
