Shift Availability:
We offer both 1st and 2nd shifts, with 12-hour work schedules.
Compensation Package:
We provide a competitive hourly wage ranging from $26.00 to $32.76, along with a night shift differential of $2.00. Key Responsibilities:
The Equipment Maintenance Technician will:
- Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge to maintain and repair production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and rectify potential issues before they escalate.
- Replace components such as pumps, motors, and electrical parts as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the plastics industry.
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills, including familiarity with VFDs, servo motors, and PLCs.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities for both high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
- Proficiency in using test equipment such as digital multimeters.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree is preferred.
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork, with the ability to work independently when required.
