Geriatric Nursing Opportunity

About the Role


As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Geriatric Care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to ensure the needs of our residents are met. You will attend to the daily operations of the unit and assume leadership responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities


• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents and their families.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided.

Requirements


• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma) with a current LPN license.
• Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
