Emergency Services Technician EMT I

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Emergency Services Technician EMT I to join our team. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of physicians, physician assistants, and registered nurses.
Responsibilities- Perform technical procedures as delegated, including establishing IV access, collecting specimens, providing wound care, and transporting patients.
- Assist physicians and nurses with performing medical procedures, including examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic treatment, and resuscitation.
- Report abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to medical/nursing staff.
- Assist with patient flow and maintaining patient rooms clean, stocked, and orderly.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level. Current State Licensure as an EMT with IV certification, or EMT-I.
- No minimum experience required.
