Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As an A Level Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by performing repairs following OEM standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs following OEM standards.
• Adhere to company safety guidelines.
• Communicate openly with management and other Company personnel.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
• Motivated individual who can work independently.
• Familiarity with all aspects of gas and diesel truck repair and maintenance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Work Environment & Physical Abilities:

• Activities require a full range of motion including handling, lifting, manual dexterity, finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Position requires sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
• Position requires the occasional ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds.
• Position requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.

Preferred Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks and medium and heavy-duty RVs as applicable.
• Diesel Engine Technology Certification(s) and/or Education.
• Freightliner and/or Western Star experience.

Job Details:

• Type: Hourly - Transition to Flat Rate.
• Compensation Range: $18.00 to $54.50.
• Bonus Eligibility: No.
• Reports To: Service Manager.
• Closing Date: Open until filled.
