Job Title: MDS Coordinator

Regency Oaks is seeking a qualified RN/LPN MDS Coordinator to join our team in Clearwater, FL.

Job Summary:

The MDS Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, maintenance, and timely completion of the MDS, care plans, and medical records for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, conducts, and completes the MDS, resident care plans, and conferences on the computerized system.
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of entire medical record.
  • Monitors and ensures MDSs are completed within HCFA and Medicare guidelines.
  • Assists in developing and implementing medical records policies and procedures.
  • Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Current RN/LPN license in Florida.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Experience working with MDS computer software.
  • Understanding of regulations impacting the MDS.
