Job Title: Medical Science Liaison

Job Summary:

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a key role at UroGen, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, and disease-area advocates in the urology and urologic-oncology community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with therapeutic experts, healthcare providers, and researchers.
  • Contribute to and represent UroGen's therapeutic strategy, working closely with other departments and colleagues.
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare professionals, responding to unsolicited medical information requests and participating in the identification and facilitation of novel clinical or scientific opportunities.
  • Assist with clinical development programs, translating external insights to ensure real-world input into UroGen programs.
  • Attend scientific conferences, gather and convey new scientific information, and maintain value to UroGen with current scientific expertise.
  • Develop and lead larger-scale projects and initiatives, as well as leadership and mentoring activities for the team.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in a clinical specialty (M.D., Pharm.D., PhD.) with 5 or more years of experience following the last stage of training.
  • 3 or more years of experience in medical affairs/MSL in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in urology, oncology, or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to understand and respond to multiple external and internal customers' demands.
  • Demonstrated clinical or scientific technical skills, including experience working with clinical trials.
  • Solid understanding and adherence to SOPs/Rules/Regulations regarding internal/external UroGen/customer interactions and activities.
