- Analyze leases, sales agreements, and other documents to understand how terms, rents, interest rates, and capitalization rates impact market value.
- Develop and maintain a database of market sales, lease rates, and operating expenses for various property types.
- Review and address taxpayer complaints regarding property assessments.
- Input commercial property characteristics into the relevant systems, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Interpret departmental procedures as outlined by the Assessor's Office.
- Assist with complex residential property cases when necessary.
