- Set and track departmental goals and objectives, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that reflect best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee department budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost management.
- Report directly to the administrator, providing regular updates on nursing performance and progress toward established goals.
- Maintain high standards of care for all patients, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Manage patients' data and medical records as confidential records, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and family members about patient health, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Schedule staff meetings for patient updates, issues, and recommendations, promoting open dialogue and collaboration among team members.
- Bachelor's of Science degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Nursing or a related field.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), demonstrating expertise and commitment to patient care.
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare facility or related setting, showcasing your ability to lead and manage nursing teams.
- Strong understanding of skilled nursing standards of care, including regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and adapt quickly to new situations, ensuring seamless implementation of changes and innovations.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills, facilitating collaboration and success within the team.
