Position: Maintenance Technician
Zing Recruiting, in collaboration with a leading client in the automotive manufacturing sector, is in search of a proficient Maintenance Technician. This role is crucial for performing repairs on various equipment and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality of production machinery with minimal interruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems including 480 Volt 3-phase, 220 Volt, and 110 Volt single-phase motor starters and controls.
- Troubleshoot and repair 480 Volt 3-phase motors, DC motors up to 700 HP, and smaller single-phase motors as necessary.
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics to identify equipment failures and execute repairs on electrical control systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting on PLC controls at both input and output levels.
- Demonstrate proficiency in setting up and resolving issues with raw material feeder systems.
- Identify and rectify mechanical problems, which may involve replacing hydraulic and pneumatic valves, pumps, blowers, gearboxes, and slide gates.
- Be available for coverage outside of regular hours, including weekends and rotating shifts.
- Read, write, and interpret safety regulations, operational guidelines, and maintenance manuals.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding operational matters.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations in various units of measure.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in electrical maintenance.
- Mechanical maintenance experience is essential.
- A minimum of three years in industrial maintenance roles.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts.
- Basic understanding of extruders and related equipment, with troubleshooting capabilities.
- Basic computer skills are required.
