Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Planet Green Search. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our organization by providing expert HR guidance and support to employees at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Support and Coaching: Provide guidance and coaching to employees on HR practices and processes, utilizing conflict resolution techniques to ensure team cohesion and a positive work environment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR state and federal regulations, updating policies and procedures as required to maintain a safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Support the recruitment process, prepare paperwork and schedules for new hires, and coordinate with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Performance Management: Facilitate the performance review process, providing guidance, tools, and training for managers and employees to ensure career growth and development.
  • Employee Data Management: Maintain up-to-date personnel information and files, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Incident Management: Escalate personnel-related issues as necessary and manage workers' compensation claims to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Payroll Administration: Process bi-monthly payroll via a third-party payroll service, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Company Safety Committee: Participate in the Company Safety Committee to promote a culture of safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual - English & Spanish: Required for effective communication with employees and management.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills to guide and support employees at all levels.
  • Training and Development Skills: Ability to train and develop employees to achieve their full potential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external partners.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, as well as HR software and technology.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or 5-8 years of progressive HR experience. SHRM-CP certification required.
