Mammography Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mammographer to join our team at SSM Health. As a Mammographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate mammography equipment and perform various procedures to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
- Explain procedures and educate patients on the importance of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
- Develop and evaluate images for technical quality, following radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
- Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
- Work in a safe and alert manner, performing other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree or graduate from a certificate program in radiologic technology.
- No experience required, but a strong understanding of mammography principles and procedures is essential.
