Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Aurora Innovation. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end indirect procurement process, ensuring that our purchasing needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the full procure to pay cycle from purchase requisition to order fulfillment, including creating purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any discrepancies
  • Negotiate terms & conditions and prices with suppliers to secure pricing and supply commitment
  • Work cross-functionally to understand requirements and business objectives, executing on sourcing and negotiation strategies that meet those goals
  • Partner closely with our Legal Team and relevant stakeholders to review/draft and finalize legal agreements such as Purchase/Supply Agreements, SOWs, etc.
  • Prepare and analyze data to track contract renewals and provide key reports to management
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in indirect procurement

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain (Procurement or Sourcing), at least one year in indirect procurement
  • Ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Finance, People Operations, Workplace, IT, etc.
  • Experience with procurement or ERP systems, as well as ticketing platforms
  • Experience in contract negotiations and managing supplier relationships
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong analytical and cost modeling skills, ability to transform data into insight
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
  • Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary range of $92,000 - $138,000
