Electrical Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction firm, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical projects, from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to ensure project requirements are met and potential issues are anticipated and addressed.
  • Prepare detailed project cost estimates and proposals, utilizing expertise in electrical systems and cost estimating.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring that work is on schedule and within budget, making necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, negotiating contracts to achieve the best possible terms.
  • Provide regular reports on project status to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in electrical project management and estimating in the commercial or industrial sectors.
  • Proficient in electrical systems, including lighting, and cost estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contract terms.
