Tigg's Canteen Services is actively searching for a Head Chef for a Part-Time Permanent Role at a correctional facility.

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

• Starting pay of $21.00 per hour for this specific role.

Essential qualifications:

• Ability to function effectively in a well-organized correctional environment.
• Proficiency in reading and executing culinary recipes.
• Capacity to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
• Leadership abilities to mentor, instruct, and assist in meal preparation, including food preparation, baking, cooking, and sanitation.

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
• Flexibility to adapt to various shifts - timings ranging from 9:30 am to 6 pm
• Approval for access clearance to the facility

Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is beneficial; however, we are ready to offer training to the right candidate.
