Job Summary: Rumpke is seeking a highly motivated and reliable CDL Rear Load Driver to join our team. As a key member of our waste collection team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by safely and efficiently collecting and hauling waste and recyclables to designated disposal sites.

About the Role: This role requires a valid Class B CDL license and a clean driving record. You will operate a rear-load truck, navigating through various routes and areas while adhering to local, state, and federal regulations. Your excellent driving skills, physical stamina, and ability to work independently make you an ideal candidate for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a rear-load truck in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Collect and haul waste and recyclables from residential and commercial customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of routes and driver logs.
  • Clean and maintain the truck and equipment in good working condition.


Skill Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to read maps and navigate through challenging routes. Physical requirements include prolonged sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting. A strong understanding of mechanical principles and general knowledge of trucks are also beneficial.
