About the Role
As a Culinary Specialist at Chi, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of our patients, visitors, and caregivers by preparing high-quality meals and menu items. This position requires a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and methods to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to standardized recipes and guidelines.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and facilities to meet state and industry standards for sanitation and safety.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed on duty while adhering to safety protocols and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in food service, with a strong preference for cooking experience.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current ServSafe Allergen and Food Handler Certifications, with the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire if not currently certified.
