Operations Planner

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with plant leadership to manage the workflow of jobs through the production facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality components while meeting customer deadlines.
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in utilizing the Epicor system for order scheduling
- Capability to schedule machinery across all operational areas of the plant
- Efficiency in entering new jobs into the system to maintain an effective schedule
- Ability to liaise with purchasing and subcontracting teams to guarantee that external services align with established timelines
- Competence in generating rework jobs in response to non-conformance reports (NCRs) within the shop
- Support for team leads in estimating labor hours for upcoming projects
- Participation in daily shop inspections to assess project statuses and identify potential scheduling impacts
- Review of sales order backlog reports and projection of upcoming workload to management at month-end
- Willingness to cross-train and assist backup scheduling personnel
- Flexibility to undertake additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- A two-year technical degree; a four-year degree is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or related position, preferably within a manufacturing setting
- Strong organizational abilities with multitasking capabilities
- Fundamental knowledge of machining processes and blueprint interpretation
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- The ability to manage stressful situations with composure
