About the Role:

Makpar Corporation is seeking a skilled Junior .Net Software Developer to join our team in Washington DC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable C#.Net code.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including application design, coding, unit testing, integration, and configuration.
Work with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for the application.
Communicate effectively with end users, team lead, and team members.
Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks.

Requirements:

2 years of professional software development experience.
Full-stack development experience, from concept to UI and back-end implementation.
2 years of in-depth working knowledge of ASP.NET Core using C#.NET, HTML5, CSS, MS SQL Server, and Identity.
1+ year of experience with Agile methodology and eXtreme Programming best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, and pair programming.
1+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps Server.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server and IIS management.
Experience or knowledge of building interfaces in compliance with Section 508, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and Web Accessibility Initiative - Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) standards.
Knowledge of implementing security best practices at the application development and hosting layers.
Experience with a distributed version control system like GIT and SVN.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and experience with Azure DevOps Server for automated builds.
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure platforms.
Excellent client communication skills.
