Key Responsibilities:

This position as a Regional Sales Manager focuses on our V. Mueller product line.

• Accountable for promoting surgical instruments within the acute care sector in the designated region.

• Proactively pursue orders from existing and potential clients by leveraging the complete V. Mueller product range, including Ureteroscope, OR Locate, Smoke, and Headlights.

• Engage in the sale of clinically distinct solutions, encompassing surgical tools, Genesis containers, ancillary OR products, and disposables.

• Achieve and surpass sales targets while enhancing the overall market share for the company in the assigned area.

• Collaborate with fellow Steris sales representatives as needed.

• Actively seek new clients and develop follow-up strategies as directed by the Regional Business Manager.

• Create a business strategy to be reviewed quarterly, detailing account activities, initiatives, and objectives.

• Address customer concerns in line with Steris policies and promptly inform the Regional Business Manager of any issues beyond your authority.

• Remain vigilant regarding competitors' products and marketing strategies, keeping the Regional Business Manager updated.

• Maintain current customer account profiles.

• Prepare and submit call reports as required by the Regional Business Manager.

• Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, conventions, and trade shows as directed.

This role is remote and requires interaction with customers in the assigned territory.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience (preferably in healthcare).
  • Experience in acute care and/or operating room sales is preferred.
  • Strong skills in planning, negotiation, and presentation.
  • Preferred knowledge of industry products.
  • Minimal overnight travel required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must comply with hospital/customer credentialing requirements.
