Responsibilities
  • Develop TxDOT Roadway Design and PS&E under the guidance of a Roadway Engineer (PE) Team Leader
  • Manage transportation projects or tasks to support business needs
  • Assist in managing the workload of design staff, including Engineers, EITs, and technical staff
  • Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules
  • Review transportation designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistency
  • Report on project progress
  • Assist with project pursuits and business development activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-accredited equivalent Engineering Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in TxDOT Roadway/Transportation PS&E project delivery
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas
  • Experience managing TxDOT Roadway/Transportation PS&E projects and plan production
  • Ability to manage a project and supervise technical staff
  • Positive attitude, self-directed, team player, focus on quality, integrity, and success
