SUMMARY: As a Recreational Vehicle Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying issues in both customer-owned and company-owned units, upholding Hilltop's commitment to exceptional quality and service while addressing customer needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with recreational vehicles.
  • Provide recommendations for necessary repairs to service writers and customers.
  • Execute repairs on units efficiently.
  • Document repairs with before and after photographs.
  • Complete repair orders with detailed descriptions of causes and corrections.
  • Enhance and maintain knowledge of systems utilized in recreational vehicles.
  • Care for and maintain tools and equipment used in the workshop.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas and customer units.
  • Maintain an organized and functional workspace.
  • Collaborate with parts personnel to procure the correct components for repairs.
  • Tag and save warranty parts for warranty processing.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including occasional weekends, as required by workload.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:
  • Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Exhibit reliability, professionalism, and courtesy at all times.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude.
  • Demonstrate thoroughness and take pride in workmanship.
  • Be organized and capable of meeting detailed requirements promptly.
  • Self-motivated with minimal need for supervision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to remain on feet throughout the day performing physical tasks in varying temperatures.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and work overhead.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Thrive in a dynamic, occasionally high-pressure setting.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:
  • Possess or be willing to acquire the necessary tools and equipment to perform job duties.
