About the Role

Essity is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our team at our Middletown, Ohio manufacturing site.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in health and hygiene, where you will be responsible for performing industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and implementing changes to improve safety and efficiency.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician who is able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative electrical maintenance on process equipment to improve reliability
  • Install and program various electrical drives
  • Assist operations in troubleshooting equipment and processes
  • Learn new technology, processes, and equipment, educate, and work with maintenance technicians and operators
  • Maintain necessary documentation (drawings, diagrams, etc.) and communicate repairs to others
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, while performing electrical tasks
  • Perform maintenance activities in accordance with all relevant safe work practices such as specified by regulatory guidelines (OSHA, NFPA70E, etc.) and mill safety policy
  • Participates in improvement projects to reduce maintenance costs and reduce process equipment failures
Requirements
  • Journeyperson Electrician with 4-6 year Electrical apprenticeship and related academic instruction
  • Industrial electrical maintenance including on-the-job experience, certified training, and education
