CPPI Grant Coordinator

Job Summary:

Fitchburg Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPPI Grant Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the CPPI grant program, working closely with the school administration, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the grant.

• Coordinate the CPPI grant program, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community-based organizations, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with EEC and DESE regulations and guidelines.
• Manage grant budget and finances, including tracking expenses and ensuring timely reporting.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote equity and diversity in early childhood education.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to effectively problem-solve and advocate for children.
• Stay up-to-date with current education legislation and regulations.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; Master's Degree preferred.
• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary license in one of the following areas: Early Childhood (PreK-2), Elementary, Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities, or Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities with SEI Endorsement.
• EEC Director I or II certification.
• Knowledge of current education legislation and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents and advocate for children to effectively problem-solve.
• Expertise and working knowledge of Early Childhood program development and implementation.
• Experience with designing and coordinating grant requirements with EEC and/or DESE.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and ability to work with all stakeholders.
• Belief in the commitment to the promotion of equity and appreciation of diversity to ensure equitable opportunities for student learning, including the implementation of specific strategies for students with special needs, 504 plans, and/or English learners (EL).

The CPPI Grant Coordinator will work closely with the school administration, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the grant. The successful candidate will be required to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and concisely, and maintain accurate records and reports.

The salary for this position is $45 per hour, with a total compensation of $16,200. The successful candidate will also be eligible for benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of NCBC (fingerprinting) and CORI prior to the start of employment.
